Phase I: The 53,000-square-foot detention center can accommodate 318 detainees and is beside a 5,500-square-foot support facility beside the new housing facility.

Phase II: The housing expansion project includes two new housing units which will increase the bed capacity by 780 beds. A 32,347 GSF administrative/support facility accommodates administrative, intake/processing, medical, visitation, food preparation/dining, laundry, and educational program spaces. The phase II housing expansion project will bring the total number of beds 2,800 beds. Blackwater was given the task of bringing the 14 node network fire alarm system up to code and compliance.
